Topic: Gallery shows X X X X X after I moved directory to root

Hi folks,

I tested the relaunch of my Webpage using Simpleviewer Pro (over the last 3 months or so) very succesfully. Everything worked as expected - as long as the web content was in a sub-directory of my webpage.

Today I moved the new content to my webpage root. Successfully with minor errors which were solved after a couple of minutes. Everything works now as expected. Except Simpleviewer Pro galleries !!

The Galleries on my page - created with Simpleviewer pro - do show a wired behavior.
- Some of them work as they did in the past,
- some of them just worked after I re-created the gallery (changing width from 700 to 701) and
- some of them dont work at all - instead of the thumbnails they show X X X X and the pictures are not visible.

Example here:

http://zweihundertvier.de/pages/fotos-- … sy-204.php

or here
http://zweihundertvier.de/pages/fotos-- … io_bgl.php

Positive example were everything works as it should, here:
http://zweihundertvier.de/pages/fotos-- … t.php#Ende

Any idea how to solve this issue ?

Thanks
Esperanto

Re: Gallery shows X X X X X after I moved directory to root

while reading my post again, I tested the links I added as "good" and "bad" examples.
Intersting enough: The galleries which worked 5 min ago, don't work now and vice versa.

Strange....I emptied my Browser cache, used 3 different PCs.....

???
Any hint would be appreciated
Michael

The user interface of my Simpleviewer Pro Module under Websitebaker doesn't show all options I would expect.
I didnt care in the past, since everything worked as it should..
But there are a few Checkboxes without description

Re: Gallery shows X X X X X after I moved directory to root

Please see this FAQ which deals with seeing crosses where images should be displayed:
My images show locally, but not when I upload them to my webserver. What are possible problems?

Please check that the images for your gallery have been uplaoded to the correct location on your web server.
In the case of your gallery here: http://zweihundertvier.de/pages/fotos-- … io_bgl.php
... the gallery's XML file defines the first imageURL as: http://zweihundertvier.de/Relaunch/wb/m … _BGL/5.jpg
... but going directly to this URL in a browser results in an error 404 (file not found).

The user interface of my Simpleviewer Pro Module under Websitebaker doesn't show all options I would expect.

We did not write the plugin for WebsiteBaker ourselves. Please contact the author of the plugin for further details.
Hopefully there will be a contact email address or website somewhere within the plugin's files.
