Topic: back button not showing/working : javascript:javascript:history.go(-1)

I have read your support articles on where to put extras in the index.html file and have added in several different places in index.html in the hope I'll see one of them (then delete the others which don't work)

<div id="back-button"><p><a href="javascript:javascript:history.go(-1)">back</a></p></div>

but am not seeing any of them.

have also added to the div css
#back-button {width: 100%;
margin: 0 auto; }

The 'back' you can see on that page is not within the embedded simpleviewer files but is in my wordpress file.

Whilst writing - can i not configure the 'back' in the simpleviewer customisation page using this javascript? … gallery-6/

any advice appreciated
many thanks

Re: back button not showing/working : javascript:javascript:history.go(-1)

Currently, your HTML Back Buttons should look like this:

<div id="back-button"><p><a href="javascript: history.go(-1);">back</a></p></div>

... with only one instance of 'javascript'.

You can use the Back Button within SimpleViewer-Pro to go back one page in the browser's history by using the following configuration options in your gallery's XML file:

backButtonURL="javascript: history.go(-1);"
backButtonText="Go Back"
