Topic: Changing orientation causes sv to quit

I have been using sv 1.9 for a long time.  I decided to upgrade to sv 2.3.1 recently and the conversion went fine.  However, I have added 2 tablets to my lan and the problem that I have encountered is that when I have the icons on the screen, if I change the orientation of the tablet device (i.e. portrait to landscape or vice-versa), sv quits and returns me to the home page of the web site.  As long as I don't change the orientation, sv appears to work properly.

The 2 tablets are: a Kindle Fire (1st gen) 7" an a Kindle Fire HD 8.9".  Do you have any ideas why changing the orientation of the device causes sv to quit?

Thanks...

Not at the moment. Please post the URL to your gallery so that we can investigate further. Thank you.

Thanks for the quick reply, Steven.

A small gallery is at  http://www.farmclubrc.com/MyGallery/Aerial

Thanks...

sv quits and returns me to the home page of the web site

Changing the orientation when viewing the gallery itself on its own page (as in the link you provided) should not make the browser change the page to your home page as there is no reference to your home page within the http://www.farmclubrc.com/MyGallery/Aerial/index.html page (and a browser would not know your home page existed).
Try clearing your browser's cache and then load the http://www.farmclubrc.com/MyGallery/Aerial/index.html page.
Now change the orientation of your device. Does the page change in your browser and, if so, what page does the browser then display?

Re: Changing orientation causes sv to quit

Steven,
Thanks for the suggestions.  I tried clearing cache and even hard rebooting the device.  Still didn't work.  So I decided to delete the gallery and re-download sv 2.3.1 and re-generate the gallery.  That seems to have worked!  I must have either had a corrupted download or the conversion went awry.  I decided to try re-generating when I noticed a fault message flash quickly on the screen.  I'd never seen that before.  Unfortunately, it happened too fast to catch the number and I couldn't re-create it.

Sorry for taking your time, it appears that the trouble was on my end.
