Re: SV is not working on Iphone

This problem happens because you are using the latest version of SimpleViewer (v2.3.1) but your gallery's XML file is in an older format (v1.9) which the Flash Player still understands but the Mobile Player (which was introduced in v2.1) does not.

The image entries in your gallery's XML file look like:

<image><filename>DSCN1117.JPG</filename></image>

... but the v2.x format would look something like:

<image imageURL="images/DSCN1117.JPG" thumbURL="thumbs/DSCN1117.JPG" linkURL="" linkTarget="">
    <caption></caption>
</image>

You should be able to convert a SimpleViewer v1.9 gallery to the latest version by following the 'Upgrading Existing Galleries' instructions on this web page.

Re: SV is not working on Iphone

This file on your web server: http://www.telemarkclubbelalp.ch/gallery.xml
... is in the new correct format but your gallery does not use this file.

The first of your galleries uses this dynamically-created XML page (generated by your 'xml.php' file) instead: http://www.telemarkclubbelalp.ch/xml.ph … sonschluss
... which still uses the old format.

Your gallery uses this file as your gallery includes the following lines in its embedding code:

var flashvars = {};
flashvars.galleryURL = "xml.php?path=photos/2013____Skitour_Saisonschluss";

If you want the gallery to use the http://www.telemarkclubbelalp.ch/gallery.xml file, either remove the flashvars.galleryURL entry from the embedding code (and SimpleViewer will default to looking for a file named 'gallery.xml' in the same directory as the page containing the embedding code) or specifically point the flashvars.galleryURL towards the 'gallery.xml' file:

var flashvars = {};
flashvars.galleryURL = "gallery.xml";
