Topic: how to put a noindex for gallery.xml

I have a problem I can't solve: google index all my simpleviewer galleries, on my wordpress site (goo.gl/8nBHO), resulting as duplicated content in google serp.
I can't avoid it with the robots.txt, with a simple "Disallow: /wp-content/uploads/", because google put the galleries xml without snippet.
I'd like to know where could I insert the noindex metatag for those files

I mean: I don't want to put noindex in the html page where the simpleviewer gallery is published - only I'd like ot hide the xml file from googlebot!
