Topic: Gallery not posting to HTML Site

Having trouble embedding the gallery HTML onto my website and having the gallery show up. The gallery previews fine in Chrome, yet when the code is embedded, nothing appears on my site. Currently using HostGator and all files from the gallery folder have been uploaded to the HostGator file management site. I've been pasting the code into the existing HTML Code where I want the gallery to display with no luck. All the image files are local, they're not hosted on Flickr, and all of them have been uploaded to the file management site.

I know I must be doing something wrong. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Gallery not posting to HTML Site

Please see this FAQ:
When I view my gallery online, I see a blank area. Why?

If this does not help, then please post the URL to your web page so that I can take a look.

Hi Steven,

Here's the preview of the gallery:

Here's our website:
(the gallery should appear between the title and the copyright language - when I right click, no message appears.)

Re: Gallery not posting to HTML Site

Your gallery files have not been uploaded to the correct location.
According to your code, your 'simpleviewer.js' file should be located at but going directly to that location in a browser results in an error 404 (file not found).

You could either:
(1) Upload the contents of your gallery folder to the same directory as your 'weddings.html' file (following the embedding instructions here)
... or:
(2) If you have already uploaded your entire gallery folder (not just the contents) to your web server somewhere, then you could modify your embedding code following the baseURL embedding instructions here.
