Topic: Flashobject with different path?

I've tried this setup:

Contents of main:

viewer.swf
flashobject.js
main.html

where main.html has the line

var fo = new FlashObject("viewer.swf", "viewer", ... .... ...)

and I see the viewer embedded in my page.

However, I wish to have a directory structure like this instead:

Contents of main:
[gallerydirectory1]
main.html

Contents of maingallerydirectory1:
viewer.swf
flashobject.js

So I made that directory structure, and in main.html I called the swf like this:

var fo = new FlashObject("gallerydirectory1viewer.swf", "viewer", ... ....
...)

But when I do this, nothing appears.

Are directories supported in the new FlashObject line?

Re: Flashobject with different path?

I don't know how the flashobject.js
But you to change the line of the JS object..

<script type="text/javascript" src="flashobject.js"></script>

To

<script type="text/javascript" src="gallerydirectory1/flashobject.js"></script>

In this case, i think you have to specify the base path, to load from (for ex)
http://www.someplace.com/gallerydirectory1/
And avoid problems from putting the full URL
(maybe some security alerts from flash or internet explorer)

So you really (i think) have to put

<script type="text/javascript" src="/gallerydirectory1/flashobject.js"></script>

And

var fo = new FlashObject&#40;"/gallerydirectory1/viewer.swf", "viewer", ... ....
...&#41;
