Topic: ok im back! :(

Gah, I thought i wouldnt have to come back here and annoy everyone with my newbie type of questions, but here goes... I got the gallery to work and all but now I have 3 new photos that I uploaded to the images and thumbs folder, and I updated the xml file as well, but the images are not showing up....any ideas what could be causing this? I also tried to re-arange some of the photos already in the gallery, but when i upload the new file, the photos are still in their origional positions....so the page isnt updating at all...but ill let an expert give me the diagnosis....  :cry:

gah...ok one more issue.......i just tried it in IE and NON of the photos are showing up, just the white 'x's....but they work fine in FF  :shock:

ok...one more thing...gahh......okies so i tried deleating my cache for FF to see if ie would work ( i know stupid)..and so now the "x"s show up on FF as well as IE!!!! GAH!!!! WHAT DID I DO?!??!!?  :oops:

Hi, Your xml and images and thumb folders look ok. Have you altered the code viewer.swf? (simpleviewer.fla)

Some of your  images use JPG, some use jpg. Try changing them all to lower case.  you can use "find and replace" in textpad or similar text editor. some servers do not recognize caps in file names.

okie dokie...i tried downloading another viewer and it worked...now my question is.....does it matter if its:

or

because i notice that when i type in the first link...all i see are the "x"s but when the next link is entered the photos are visible.....any ideas?

both links work for me, as they should. You can double check with your host, if they don't work for you.

Yea i acctually just asked one of my friends to check it on his computer and he said he could view it....hmm i dont know why it dosent work on mine..oh well as long as its working! Thanks you helped a bunch! But dont get to comfy, ill most likely be back like in a week or something because i deleated a file or some crap like that lol!  :D
