Topic: page maximized in mobile phones [SOLVED]

Hello. I use simpleviewer pro 2.3.1, and I've got a problem on display my web on mobile devices. My web isn't responsive, and when I get into a page of my site that has simpleviewer gallery, te page gets maximized, and I can't resize it. What can be the problem? Thanks,
regards

Re: page maximized in mobile phones [SOLVED]

It would help to see the web page you are referring to.
Please post the URL to your gallery so that I can take a look.

In the meantime, check the dimensions of your gallery. If you are using percentage dimensions, then please make sure that all parent containers of your gallery have dimensions set via CSS.
Also, check to see if your web page uses a <meta> 'viewport' tag which may set the scale of your web page on mobile devices.

Re: page maximized in mobile phones [SOLVED]

Your galleries seem to be displaying and functioning correctly. You can select a thumbnail and navigate around the images fine.
The gallery will only be expanded to fullscreen if you click the 'Fullscreen' button in your gallery.
If you do not want visitors to your web site to be able to expand your gallery, set showFullscreenButton="FALSE" (in svBuilder-Pro's 'Customize -> Standard' section).

Incidentally, I notice that you are currently using SimpleViewer-Pro v2.1.3.
If you like, you could upgrade to the current version (v2.3.1).
Please see the Version History for a full list of changes.
Instructions for upgrading can be found on the Upgrading SimpleViewer-Pro support page.

Re: page maximized in mobile phones [SOLVED]

Sorry I wrote two of my pages with gallery. The problem is:
In pages without galleries in mobile dislplay shows all wide of the phone, as you can see on this image:

http://www.creacionesgarcia.com/screenshot1.png

and in pages with gallery inside, the page shows maximized, and you can't resize it, as you can see on the next image:

(http://www.creacionesgarcia.com/catalog … ables.html)

Thanks!

Re: page maximized in mobile phones [SOLVED]

It looks like SimpleViewer may be setting a scale for your web page and locking the viewport.
I have just double-checked your gallery page on an iPod Touch 4 (iOS 6.1.6) and the scale of the page is the same as the page without the gallery and I can still pinch-zoom in and out.

Try setting a <meta> 'viewport' tag in the <head> section of your web page to see if this makes a difference.
Something along the lines of the following:

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=0.5, user-scalable=1">

Re: page maximized in mobile phones [SOLVED]

I tried what you said, but it's the same. I've noticed, that this problem occurs only on android devices. In ios devices works correctly.

Re: page maximized in mobile phones [SOLVED]

The Mobile Player within SimpleViewer does set the scale and lock the viewport on Android devices but it sets 'width=device-width' so the entire width of your web page should be visible across the width of your device's screen.

I notice that your gallery still uses SimpleViewer-Pro v2.1.3.
Please try upgrading your gallery to the current version of SimpleViewer-Pro (v2.3.1) to see if this makes a difference.
Many bugs have been fixed since v2.1.3 so upgrading may help. (Even if it does not help, we can then at least rule out any bugs that were present in previous versions of SimpleViewer but which have since been fixed.)
Please see the Version History for a full list of changes.
Instructions for upgrading can be found on the Upgrading SimpleViewer-Pro support page.

Also, although it is not a direct solution to your problem, you might like to try Juicebox (a different image viewer), at least to see whether or not the same problem occurs.
Juicebox is an alternative image viewer to SimpleViewer (and is more configurable on mobile devices) which uses HTML 5 rather than Adobe Flash.
For more information on the differences between SimpleViewer and Juicebox, please see this SimpleViewer news article.
You could download and try Juicebox-Lite (the free version) to see if this works any better within you web site.

If the problems persists, please let me know what Android device and browser you are using.
The more information we have, the better. Thank you.
