Topic: Different behaviour IE vs Opera

It's not a simpleviewer question, but, why my simpleviewer gallery have this horizontal offset in Opera? IE displays right the page, I don't know how works in Firefox

This is the webpage: www.huidobro-martin.com
And this is the behaviour in IE and Opera

Re: Different behaviour IE vs Opera

FF looks the same as Opera

not sure if this will solve your problem ot not, but it is best practice for a variety of reasons. use the swfobject
sample below, change ingredients to your taste

<script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>
<style type="text/css">
   /* hide from ie on mac */
   html &#123;
      height&#58; 100%;
      overflow&#58; hidden;
   &#125;

   #flashcontent &#123;
      height&#58; 100%;
   &#125;
   /* end hide */

   body &#123;
      height&#58; 100%;
      margin&#58; 0;
      padding&#58; 0;
      background-color&#58; #181818;
      color&#58;#ffffff;
   &#125;
</style>
</head>
<body>
   <div id="flashcontent">SimpleViewer requires Macromedia Flash. <a href="http&#58;//www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/">Get Macromedia Flash.</a> If you have Flash installed, <a href="index.html?detectflash=false">click to view gallery</a>.</div>
   <script type="text/javascript">
      var fo = new SWFObject&#40;"viewer.swf", "viewer", "100%", "100%", "7", "#181818"&#41;;
      fo.addVariable&#40;"preloaderColor", "0xffffff"&#41;;
      fo.addVariable&#40;"xmlDataPath", "gallery.xml"&#41;;
      fo.write&#40;"flashcontent"&#41;;
   </script>

</body>

Re: Different behaviour IE vs Opera

Thanks!
Partialy solved. I've made the html design in dreamweaver, and setting the flash object without border and left aligned, the page shows now embedded in the green area, but still with an offset. I'll keep testing...
