Topic: customizing title?

I'm very thankful for this beautiful software and managed to integrate it to my content into our pages. There's one tiny problem I have:

How can I get rid of the ".jpg" after each picture-title? Any ideas?

This is the code in my builder.php so far:

$xml .= '
'.$key.'
by photographer xy
';

Re: customizing title?

You can manually edit the generated XML file, to remove the ".jpg" text from each
tag.

Re: customizing title?

wow, fast replies here!
Yes, I thought about that, but isn't there a more intelligent way, like some "trim"-function? Doing it manually would be too much...

Re: customizing title?

Yes, I imagine you could automatically truncate the text using PHP, by editing the build script.

Re: customizing title?

can you change the text size?

Re: customizing title?

To change the text size, try adding CDATA tags to the caption:

This tag will let you add some HTML tags into the captions. Beware, not all of them will work so well, but this should help a little...

Re: customizing title?

big_smile thanks, I found a solution using something like this :
rtrim($titel, " .jpg")
