Topic: THUMBNAIL DOGEAR

Several times, I have tried to change the color of the dogear icon that appears when a thumbnail has been viewed.  I am doing this in the simpleviewer.fla file and republishing, but it never works.

Any advice?

Re: THUMBNAIL DOGEAR

You can not alter the dog ear colour in the fla. It is controlled thru action script in the thumbs.as file around line 80.

Re: THUMBNAIL DOGEAR

Thanks.  Just looked at line 80.  I see something referencing color, but no specific tag.  I do not know Flash or action scripting code.

What would I change to make the dogear yellow?

Re: THUMBNAIL DOGEAR

Hi, at line 80 in the thumbs.as file you will see this:

col2.setRGB(mXMLManager.thumbnailFrameColor);

I think the stuff in the parenthetical is setting the dogear color to the existing thumbnail framecolor.

So delete this stuff in the parenthetical: mXMLManager.thumbnailFrameColor.

Replace it with the hexidecimal value of whatever color you want to use.

For example if you want the dogear to be white then line 80 will look like this:

col2.setRGB(0xFFFFFF);

Most programs that have some kind of color picker will show you the hex number of the color that you pick. Then you can just copy the hex value down for use in simpleviewer.
