Topic: Incompatible with Ebay?

Hi,
Love this app, its exactly what I want for my ebay auctions, however I ran into an issue when trying to put the source code for the gallery into the description.  Apparently, ebay doesn't like the javascript "replace" function, which is used extensively in flashobject.js.

"Your listing cannot contain javascript (".cookie", "cookie(", "replace(", IFRAME, META, or includes), cookies or base href."

bummer.

Any workaround for this? Simpleviewer could be potentially huge for ebay users!!!

Hi, I'm not sure if you can embed Flash in eBay pages. If you can embed Flash, then you can use SimpleViewer. Alternatively you could add a link to your SV gallery hosted on another site.

Hi, thanks for the reply.  I'm pretty sure I've seen flash viewers in ebay auctions before.  The error message quoted above strongly points to the javascript as the culprit, specifically the 'replace' function.

What would the code be to embed it without using the javascript?

To embed without Javascript (not recomended) the code would be something like:
