Topic: Problem showing images

Hi,
I am quite new to this stuff but have to admit that this little module is really neat. I have setup a gallery here:

http://www.pifpafteam.org/images/simpleviewer/gallery1/

It works perfectly. The only thing is that I want to show this gallery at the root level, here:

http://www.pifpafteam.org/index.php?opt … p;Itemid=9

And as you can see, the flash file is properly open, but images are not shown. Here is my filetree (in CAPS are folders):

/root
|   IMAGES
|      SIMPLEVIEWER
|         GALLERY1
|            IMAGES
|            THUMBS
|            buildgallery.php
|            gallery.xml
|            index.html
|            viewer1.swf
|      swfobject.js
|   index.php

In index.php, I have placed the following in the header:

<script type="text/javascript" src="/images/simpleviewer/swfobject.js"></script>

And here is what I have put for my entry in the blog:

<div id="flashcontent">
SimpleViewer requires Macromedia Flash. <a href="http&#58;//www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/">Get Macromedia Flash.</a> If you have Flash installed, <a href="images/simpleviewer/gallery1/index.html?detectflash=false">click to view gallery</a>.
</div>
<script type="text/javascript">
var fo = new SWFObject&#40;"images/simpleviewer/gallery1/viewer1.swf", "viewer", "500", "375", "7", "#181818"&#41;;
fo.addVariable&#40;"preloaderColor", "0xffffff"&#41;;
fo.addVariable&#40;"xmlDataPath", "images/simpleviewer/gallery1/gallery.xml"&#41;;
fo.write&#40;"flashcontent"&#41;;
</script>

I have tried many different things, many things that were described here but I still can't find a solution. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Re: Problem showing images

well I finally managed to make it work inside an iframe but this is not an elegant solution.

Re: Problem showing images

Tip - make your frame / arrow colour something other than white, so your thumb next/back buttons show.

hu, how do you do that? big_smile

Re: Problem showing images

You can change the colours in gallery.xml
