Topic: Images in different directories

My gallery page displays the images from my database using a SQL query. When I make a new gallery I put the images in a folder named after the date, for example 060405, and create directories for images and thumbnails respectively (as well as upload the images there). So far so god, works perfectly. The problem arises when I want to display for example the most frequently viewed images from my database and the images are not in the same directory.

Is it possible to display image a.jpg from 060505/images/a.jpg and 061212/images/b.jpg in the same gallery?

Re: Images in different directories

The problem is that you need to specify an image and a thumb path.

If you had your subfolders inside a thumbs and an image folder like this:

thumbs/123123/img1.jpg
thumbs/86866/img2.jpg

images/123123/img1.jpg
images/86866/img2.jpg

Then you could set your filenames to be:

<filename>123123/img1.jpg</filename>
<filename>86866/img2.jpg</filename>

Re: Images in different directories

I see, so the other way around

123123/thumbs/img1.jpg
86866/thumbs/img2.jpg

123123/images/img1.jpg
86866/images/img2.jpg

Then you could set your filenames to be:

<filename>123123/img1.jpg</filename>
<filename>86866/img2.jpg</filename>

would not work?
