Topic: Multiple galleries with IE7

Hi (and happy new year !)

I have some troubles using Simpleviewer with IE7.

My web site is http://www.aufildeslumieres.com (it is under construction...). I use your multiple galleries example. The header div contains a Javascript scrolling menu.

When you are on a gallery page (with header, flashcontent and footer div), the menu goes over flashcontent div on IE6 but not on IE7. It stays in header div. flashcontent div seems to be always "one layer above"

What's happen ? What are the differences between IE6 and IE7 ?

Thanks
DavBo

One more thing: I have just try my web site on FireFox (1 & 2). It does't work... Flashcontent div is always above and the menu is hidden.

Re: Multiple galleries with IE7

I found the solution to solve this issue !

It was a pb with the javascript menu I use. It is not supposed to go over flash applications but it did with IE6.

Ths solution is to set wmode parameter to transparent for simpleviewer application like described below:

<script type="text/javascript">
    var fo = new SWFObject("../../images/viewer.swf", "viewer", "1200", "600", "7", "#181818");
    fo.addParam("wmode", "transparent");
    fo.write("flashcontent");
</script>
