Topic: Adding a link to the page

I need to add a link to another site under the thumbnails. I turned the captions off, as I don't need them, and added an image in that section. I can't add the link along the top of the page like in the multiple galleries example, it will ruin the whole layout of the site. Which .as files do I need to edit to add the link? Could I use the "dowload-simpleviewer" link and replace the text? If so, which files do I need to edit?

I tried creating a "hot spot" in Dreamweaver, but I can't see the background on the page to hotspot the image I placed under the thumbnails. Any ideas on this?

Yes. Enter your link URL in Options.as linkURL.

To add your own text, edit the DownloadLink symbol in the FLA.

Re: Adding a link to the page

Thanks! I played around with it and figured it out. I edited the right file and it's working great!  big_smile

Re: Adding a link to the page

The Download link is not visible in 1.9. How do I make it visible?
(I want to create my own custom link in that place)

The older Options_as had this block:

//download link options
static var enableDownloadLink:Boolean = true; //Sets whether to show the Download Link at bottom right

But nomore in 1.9.

Sugestions?

Re: Adding a link to the page

Found it.

You have to set the "Is Pro" parameter to false.

A bit silly though.

Hello Buiusvogel,

Where can I found the "Is Pro" parameter ??

Thanks

The 'IS_PRO' variable is defined in the StageManager class.
