Topic: list of nice simpleviewer sites?

Hi-

I'm new to the simpleviewer world and I've been trying to find an area on the site where I can get some ideas of cool simpleviewer designs.  Something that's been tweaked from the out of the box settings.  Nice backgrounds, colors, etc.  Is there someplace that I'm missing where these links would be?  If not, can we start it here?

For example, I think "Europe Trip Sept 03" ( http://www.airtightinteractive.com/simpleviewer/lores/ )is great and I'd like to see more like this.

I use use both simpleviewer and autoviewer in frames on dark backgrounds with an html menu.

I took a peek at your girlfriend's site and love what you did with it. I'm just getting started designing my photo site and know I'll need to customize. Minimal I'll need menu bar, "home" button, caption text editing. Were you able to do all that using any of the auto programs like Picasa or Porta, or will I have to go strictly "manual" in my set-up? Might as well know that before I start. In FAQ's they explain how to add headers/footers, etc, but I'm not clear how much if any of this can be done in the auto programs. Thanks for sharing your site...

Dardar,

Um, basically its mostly just editing what it says in the gallery.xml file by using just basic text editor, the index.html file was edited slightly in mozilla but really not much was changed in that.

The front page was made in macromedia flash.

The headers and footers suck when using the FAQ way, it puts a line at the top or bottom of black and ifyou have a background image it makes it look bad.

It was all done in the basic version of simpleviewer, i dont have pro.

I just added SV Pro 1.8 to my website, http://FlyingTigerChinese.com if you'd like to see an example of SV based on a fixed layout.

Right now the site has 6 different sections. To view the image "tour" use the menu bar and hit [more options] (the right diamond cluster) and then choose the tour menu option.

I found Simpleviewer after trying another -Simpleviewer for Lightroom was far easier to deal with. First time using it and it allowed me to put together a basic website in an hour.  My website is at:

This is my photography site, currently support multiple galleries with frames but am switching to DHTML hover menus soon for better analytics tracking and cleaner interface as well getting picked up by google, etc.
