Topic: Newbie needs help with Simple Viewer popup page

My son setup my website for me and it works fine with Simple Viewer.  When I click on the hyperlink it correctly open up Simple Viewer with a somewhat smaller than fullsize page which I want.  However, I am making a new website and using Simple Viewer in it too.  When I click on the hyperlink it goes to Simple Viewer correctly but it opens it up fullsize with the menu bars at the top and then rather than click the close box in the upper right corner, it doesn't open up a new window.

My son put some html in my original page that looks like this:

onClick="window.open('http://www.website.com/gallery/','gallery','toolbar=0,scrollbars=0,location=0,statusbar=0,menubar=0,resizable=0,width=800,height=700')" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()"

This achieves the effect I want.  He used it with a fancy image map which I didn't use.  I just have text hyperlinks on my page, so I would not know where to stick text that would handle this.  My html on my index.htm looks like this:

<td valign="top" width="209" height="513" colspan="2">
      <p><font size="4" face="Arial"><br>
      <a href="index.htm">Home</a><br>
      <a href="Conference.htm">Conference Registration</a><br>
      <a href="Program.htm">Program</a><br>
      <a href="Speakers.htm">Speakers</a><br>
      <a href="FieldTrips.htm">Field Trips</a><br>
      <a href="PostFieldTrips.htm">Post-Conference</a><br>
      <a href="Supporters.htm">Supporters</a><br>
      <a href="Exhibitors.htm">Exhibitors/Posters</a><br>
      <a href="Vendors.htm">Vendors</a><br>
      <a href="Lodging.htm">Lodging</a><br>
      <a href="Directions.htm">Directions/Map</a><br>
      <a href="gallery/index.html">Gallery</a><br>
      <a href="Contact.htm">Contact Us</a><br>

I really don't know where to go because I'm not a programmer and I used Frontpage to create simple webpages.  Thanks for any help you can be!  It is much appreciated!

Re: Newbie needs help with Simple Viewer popup page

When you click on gallery, it pops upon a new window, without the toolbar or menu bar.  That is how I want mine, only I have a simple text hyperlinks instead of a imagemap like here.

My code on my site is as follows:

<html>

<head>
<meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 5.0">
<meta name="ProgId" content="FrontPage.Editor.Document">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en-us">
<title>Home</title>
<style fprolloverstyle>A:hover {color: #FF0000; font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt}
</style>
</head>

<body link="#000080" vlink="#000080">

<div align="center">
  <center>
  <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="8" width="846" height="748">
    <tr>
      <td align="right" valign="top" width="156" height="219">&nbsp; </td>
      <td width="53" height="219"></td>
      <td valign="top" width="606" height="219">
      <p align="center">
      <img border="0" src="images/homelogo2.jpg" width="525" height="265"></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
      <td valign="top" width="209" height="513" colspan="2">
      <p><font size="4" face="Arial"><br>
      <a href="index.htm">Home</a><br>
      <a href="Conference.htm">Conference Registration</a><br>
      <a href="Program.htm">Program</a><br>
      <a href="Speakers.htm">Speakers</a><br>
      <a href="FieldTrips.htm">Field Trips</a><br>
      <a href="PostFieldTrips.htm">Post-Conference</a><br>
      <a href="Supporters.htm">Supporters</a><br>
      <a href="Exhibitors.htm">Exhibitors/Posters</a><br>
      <a href="Vendors.htm">Vendors</a><br>
      <a href="Lodging.htm">Lodging</a><br>
      <a href="Directions.htm">Directions/Map</a><br>
      <a href="gallery/index.html">Gallery</a><br>
      <a href="Contact.htm">Contact Us</a><br>
      <br>
      </font></td>
      <td valign="top" width="606" height="513">&nbsp;<p>
      <font size="4" face="Arial">
      <img border="0" src="images/summer.jpg" width="474" height="315"></font><p>&nbsp;<p>
      <font size="4" face="Arial">
      <img border="0" src="images/winter.jpg" width="474" height="315"></font></td>
    </tr>
  </table>
  </center>
</div>

</body>

</html>

What do I need to do to accomplish the popup window like the one at:

Thanks very much!
