Topic: Win IE Flash detect problem

Hi!

I'm building a site with SV Pro, and it looks great everywhere except on IE6 (I think) under WinXP. I get the "SimpleViewer Requires Flash..." message. When I click through, SV loads fine.

swfobject 1.4.1 flash player 8,0,24,0.

My hunch is that swfobject.js isn't seeing the Flash version. Any suggestions?

You may have a bad installation of Flash on that machine. Try rebooting the machine, and/or re-installing flash.

OK, thanks. It's a corporate install, and I don't have clearance to re-install. Is that the most likely cause?
