Topic: how to get CSS menu to be on top of Simpleviewer?

I've been googling and searching this forum for answers, but can't seem to find any that makes sense to me..

I've got a CSS navigation menu, wich I would want to place on top of simpleviewer. Right now, simpleviewer is on top of the navigation menu, hiding it..

I've read something about "wmode" på where exactly do I have to place that code, if that's what I need?

thanks..

You can have the SimpleViewer SWF appear under DHTML layers by adding this code under the SWFObject line in the HTML document:

fo.addParam("wmode", "opaque");

sorry for being stupid, but what exactly is the "SWFObject line" ? Where is it I have to place that code? hmm

the line that contains the word 'swfobject'.

Re: how to get CSS menu to be on top of Simpleviewer?

When I add the line "fo.addParam("wmode", "opaque");" to the code, the gallery disappears and is replaced by the line "SimpleViewer requires Macromedia Flash. Get Macromedia Flash. If you have Flash installed, click to view gallery". Any idea as to what I'm doing wrong?

Just to show you where I placed the code, in case that's the problem:

<script type="text/javascript">
var so = new SWFObject("viewer.swf", "viewer", "980", "490", "8", "#222222");
fo.addParam("wmode", "opaque");
so.write("flashcontent");
</script>

Stefan, in your example, change "fo" to "so"
