Topic: Getting "Gallery not found" error

Hi all...

I have followed the PSCS2 instructions, I have uploaded the folder containing my images, thumbs and other files to my server via FTP.

When I open the "gallery" page with Firefox on my computer all is fine.

When I open it up with Firefox from the server (online, not local), I get the Gallery page, and in the center the loading "bar" starts, but then reads "Gallery Not found" right under it.

Can anyone please help?

what's the URL (use DOT and SLASH if you can't post the actual URL) ?

You are missing the XML file.

It should be here: http://www.faulconfotography.net/gallery.xml

The Gallery 1 folder has the following in it:

images folder
thumbs folder
gallery.xml
index.html
readme.txt
swfobject.js
viewer.swf

I was going to have a couple of galleries for the site, and created the folders for each one.

I just checked with my FTP program.. and the gallery.xml file is there.

If the swf is in a different folder to the HTML doc that contains it, you will need to set the xmlDataPath option to point to your gallery's XMl file.

I tried that today.. didnt work.. so I redid the pages and put all of the files in the gallery1 folder and directed the path in the xml file as to the gallery1 folder..

www dot

faulconfotography

dot net ...

still getting "gallery not found" error.

oops.. now All I get are "x's" for thumbs and images.

but with the gallery.xml file in the folder you said above.. what happens when I have galleries for the other pages?

Thanks Felix.. I appreciate your answer about the multiple galleries.. but I need help with getting rid of the "X"'s in the first gallery (see my last post).
