Topic: New Zip missing files?

Hi,

I've been using simpleviewer for many years and gotten the older version working nicely with PHP dynamic generate photo album.

The new version i just download today seems to be different.

1) i dont see where it specify in the code to look at the XML file. So how would it know where to read the file?

2) you dont have the buildgallery.cgi anymore? What will build the thumbnails and xml file?

Here is a working copy based upon the old version:
http://www.knguyentu.com/main.php?url=Images Gallery&images=lv2004

But this new version, I can't get working:
http://www.knguyentu.com/main.php?url=Images Gallery&images=dl2004&detectflash=false

Thanks,
KN

Re: New Zip missing files?

by the way, here is the new version code...

<div id="flashcontent">SimpleViewer requires Macromedia Flash. <a

href="http&#58;//www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/">Get Macromedia Flash.</a> If you have Flash installed, <a

href="http&#58;//www.knguyentu.com/main.php?url=Images Gallery&images=dl2004&detectflash=false">click to view

gallery</a></div>
    <script type="text/javascript">
        var fo = new FlashObject&#40;"http&#58;//www.knguyentu.com/pictures/dl2004/viewer.swf", "viewer", "100%",

"100%", "6", "#181818"&#41;;
        fo.addParam&#40;"scale", "noscale"&#41;;
        fo.write&#40;"flashcontent"&#41;;
    </script>

and the old version

Re: New Zip missing files?

Yup, adding that solved the problem. Worked great for me.

In my main.php file, I have it done this.... (For anyone who is curious)

<a href="main.php?url=Images Gallery&images=dl2004&detectflash=false">

This is because I am having PHP dynamically read the necessary file upon the tag.

Than once i detect this, it include this...

<script type="text/javascript">
    var fo = new FlashObject&#40;"http&#58;//www.knguyentu.com/pictures/dl2004/viewer.swf", "viewer","95%", "95%", "2",

"#FFFFFF"&#41;;
    fo.addParam&#40;"scale", "noscale"&#41;;
    fo.addParam&#40;"FlashVars", "xmlDataPath=http&#58;//www.knguyentu.com/pictures/lv2004/imageData.xml"&#41;;
    fo.write&#40;"flashcontent"&#41;;
</script>

Which worked. I'll slowly convert the rest. Thanks for the help.
