Topic: Viewing Changes in Browser

I've made some simple changes, such as textColor in the gallery.xml file, then republished my viewer.swf.

The changes register when viewing in flash player, however when viewing in any browser the textcolor remains the same.

I've tried emptying my cache, but that doesn't seem to help.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Viewing Changes in Browser

changes to the xml don't require a Flash re-publish. Check step 2.1 here: … #customize

Re: Viewing Changes in Browser

"changes to the xml don't require a Flash re-publish" ... Thank you.

But I am still not sure as to why my changes are detected with FLash Player but when using a browser only some of them work.

For example and changes to thumbnails and frame color works fine. But I can't get the text color to changed. Right now my xml file states: textColor="0x000000" frameColor="0x000000" But when viewing in the browser the text color is stile white "0xffffff"

Could the xml text color information be conflicting with some 'textcolor' from another file?

May thanks.
