Topic: Turning off the title display

This is probably an easy one for all of you - how do I completely turn off the title display for the first slide. I've managed to move my captions down but I can't turn off the title, so the first slide starts one line below the others.

Many thanks!

I've been looking for that too. Didn't find a true solution. But this workaround does gives the same effect:

1) In Optiona.as change the title font size to the same value as the caption font size
2) For the first slide: put the caption text in the XML file on the place reserved for the title instead. Leave caption blanc for first image.

For example see: http://www.afvv.nl/afvvmaand.html

Re: Turning off the title display

Very smart. The best workaround I came up with was shrinking the title font to nothing, but that still left an awkward space.

I guess the other workaround that I'm eventually aiming for is having the first slide be an explainer - what the gallery/theme is about - in which case, the gallery + 1st slide won't get a title or caption in the xml.

True! I did just that in my portfolio website, but since I don't use caption text there, I didn't think of it when answering your question.

Great work HH. The frame around the explainer images is a bit bright on my screen.
