Topic: FAQ, Q8. Does this apply when preloadImages are set to false

Hi,

I have just purchased SimpleViewer pro, and now I read in the FAQ that
"SimpleViewer is designed for viewing at most around 50 images per gallery"

I need to build a slideshow (without thumbnails) with hundreds of images
(navigation via the next,previous -buttons ...I intend customize with direct links to specific images from html pages so the visitor might start the slideshow somewhere in the middle of the slideshow.)

If I set "preloadImages" to false, would there still be the same problem:
"SimpleViewer is designed for viewing at most around 50 images per gallery. More images than this can cause slow performance on older machines, as all the images are loaded into memory simultaneously. "

I would really appreciate feedback on this, else I can not start this project
using SimpleViewer Pro

Thank you!

Turning off 'preloadImages' will help, but potentially a user could view all the images in your site and this will put all the images into memory at one time. The size of your images is also a factor.

Thank you for quick reply!

How is browsing a gallery (without preload) different from browsing the web and filling up memory with images?

...Could I include some sort of unload functionality?
