Topic: Current Password is Incorrect

I am trying to change the default password but I am getting the message, "Current Password is Incorrect" above the current password form field.

Suggestions?

Re: Current Password is Incorrect

Try following the instructions for a forgotten password in the svManager user manual. Then try again.

I've tried that and still get that error. Any suggestions?

Thanks so mcuh!

Re: Current Password is Incorrect

OK so you are getting a red "Current password is incorrect" above the current password form field when you try to change the password. And you are entering the current default password correctly – in lower case. And there are no error messages or problems on any other screens. And you've uploaded the file svmanager/data/auth.txt from the original distribution and overwritten the old copy.

If you've done all this and you are still getting the error message then it may be that something has gone wrong in the install. Try unzipping the original zip file from Airtight and installing again. Check that all the files have made it to your server and nothing is missing.

If it still doesn't work, pm me your web address and I'll take a look.

Re: Current Password is Incorrect

if you changed password, you might have forgotten to type in your login name. In that case just use single password. If it doesn't work then use it with login. Happened to me as wel.

Good point, Unbearable, although uploading the auth.txt file should have reset it – thanks for your help.
