Topic: Bad image quality

hello,

I have just purchased SimpleViewer Pro, and its working great except that the image quality is very poor.

I read other threads saying that it can be solved by setting the fixedLayout = true and enableImageDownScaling = false in the AS options.

The problem is, when I do that I lose the layout of the main image and thumbs. I have no idea what the values should be in order to keep the standard layout, meaning thumbs on left, main image on right, all centered in the page, just like in the SimpleView demo. Can someone please help me on that. sad

Thanks!!

If you are loading very large images into SimpleViewer they will be scaled down and you may lose some image quality. Check the FAQ, Q7: http://www.airtightinteractive.com/simp … r/faq.html

To disable image downscaling you can set 'enableImageDownScaling' to false without setting 'fixedLayout'.

Re: Bad image quality

Try adding this before the "fo.write("flashcontent");" line in the HTML doc.

fo.addParam("quality", "best");
