Topic: Here is how to change opacity of next/previous/play buttons

Just figured this out. Thought I'd share it with everyone...

I bought Autoviewer Pro and have been using it for over a year. I love it, except the buttons are a little too obstrusive. I tried forever to change the button appearances or sizes, but it always broke something else and it wouldn't compile. Finally, I got one thing to work...

Here is how to change the opacity of the three main buttons:

First, open the following ActionScript file:
/source/com/airtightinteractive/apps/viewers/autoviewer/RolloverButton.as

Look for: public function doShow(show:Boolean) towards the bottom of the file.

Look for these lines:

        if (show) {
            new Tween(mClip_mc, "_alpha", null, 0, 95, 5, false);
        }else{
            new Tween(mClip_mc, "_alpha", null, 95, 0, 5, false);
        }

To change the opacity of the buttons, simply change the 95's to a lower number, like this:

        if (show) {
            new Tween(mClip_mc, "_alpha", null, 0, 35, 5, false);
        }else{
            new Tween(mClip_mc, "_alpha", null, 35, 0, 5, false);
        }

Save the FLA and re-Publish your SWF. You should now see translucent buttons...

Hope this works for you. It really improves the appearance of my galleries... ;-)
