Topic: html javascript enquiry

<script type="text/javascript">
var fo = new SWFObject&#40;"viewer.swf", "viewer",
"640", "480", "8", "#333333"&#41;;
fo.addVariable&#40;"xmlDataPath", "por_zon_gallery.xml"&#41;
fo.write&#40;"flashcontent"&#41;;
</script>

I do not have any problems but I am curious as to what the "8" after the width and height parameter controls. I have altered the value and seen differing values on other people's sites using SimpleViewer but cannot see any difference, but all the same i'd still like to know!

If anybody can answer that small question for me I would be most grateful.

Many Thanks

Re: html javascript enquiry

This value (the "8" in your example) specifies the minimum Flash player version required by the SWF file.
