Topic: Loading SWF files into SimpleViewer -- my SWFs are squished

Hi I know you can load in SWFs into SimpleViewer -- see quote from FAQ page.

23: Will SimpleViewer load things other than JPG images?

SimpleViewer can load JPG, GIFs, PNGs and SWFs. Any other file types (TXT, FLVs etc) are not supported. SWFs are loaded in the same way as JPGs, just add the SWF filename to gallery.xml. Note that you will need to add a thumbnail SWF with the same name as the large SWF in the 'thumbs' folder (the same as for a JPG).

My SWF is 728x90 and the max image area is set to 801x466 and frameWidth is set to 0. Yet my SWF looks like it's squished to about 700x45. Why?

Re: Loading SWF files into SimpleViewer -- my SWFs are squished

SimpleViewer detects the SWF size based on what's on the stage, not on the published SWF size. So if you have movieclips off the edge of the stage it will affect the layout.

Re: Loading SWF files into SimpleViewer -- my SWFs are squished

When loading swf instead jpgs the fisrt time I see them they look all right, but when I return back to an already seen swf, it is squished by 350x45. My loaded swf is exactly the same size the image display area, 350x350 pixels.
Any idea what is wrong?
Thanks
