Topic: font tags in image description - indenting?

trying to format the fonts on the back of the my image descriptions with simple color and size tags, but i'm finding that any tag i put on slaps an indent on the copy for both title and description. any way to eliminate this?

also, seems like the title space is set no matter how small you make the title - any controls over that either?

thanks in advance - great product!

Using HTML formatting shouldn't cause an indent. Check the 2nd image in this example: http://www.airtightinteractive.com/proj … d_example/

Re: font tags in image description - indenting?

and it still won't let me post a screen shot. well, here's the code:

Image Title

This is description copy. This is description copy. This is description copy. This is description copy. This is description copy.

i set both the title and description to "30" but you can see the spacing has remained the same.

i'll see if i can post a screen shot later.

Re: font tags in image description - indenting?

Hi!
The workaround to the problem is the following (although i do not understand why)... you have to wrap the content inside this wierd other tag and then it works fine:

          ]]

... example is:

  Cliente: DEMIAN

I´m using it in my gallery and it works fine like this.
Also if you want to intentionally indent text (so that it doesn´t start right off the border, I´m primitively using
tags to separate the content and then leaving spaces before the first word... then you have to check the preview to see where to put the break tags...

Hope it helps, cheers , demian

Re: font tags in image description - indenting?

Hi,

it's not that weird. Flash usually requires a CDATA wrapper when putting HTML tags inside XML, otherwise there is no way for flash to know whats a HTML formatting tag and whats an XML tag.

Using CDATA is described in step 5 here: http://www.airtightinteractive.com/proj … truct.html
