Topic: Gallery not found on .mac account !

Hi there,

I'm trying to set up SimpleViewer on iWeb using the HTML snippets and when I load the page I get the "Gallery not found" message. I've tried to search on the forum for an explanation but couldn't figure it out. I've tried to set up the path (if it's the problem) but did not work.

Can someone give me a hand on that please ?

'Gallery not found' is most likely caused by an incorrect path to your 'gallery.xml' file.
Make sure the path to 'gallery.xml' is correct relative to the html page referencing it.

ie. If your code looks like:

fo.addVariable("xmlDataPath", "gallery.xml");

then the 'gallery.xml' file should be alongside the html page in the same folder.
If your code looks like:

fo.addVariable("xmlDataPath", "xmlfiles/gallery.xml");

then the 'gallery.xml' file should be in a subfolder named 'xmlfiles'.

I've just checked your website:
http://web.me.com/bertrand.cadet/Test/Accueil.html
and both galleries appear OK with no 'Gallery Not Found' notices.
Have you fixed the problem or are you still having issues?

I fixed it but not the way I should have. I checked the error message and put the gallery.xml file where it was supposed o be find. If I change the path in the gallery.xml and/or in the index.html file it doesn't work for me.
