Topic: Admin difficulties

Hi Jack,

I just purchased svManager, loaded it onto my server and for some reason I'm not able to change my username or password... it does accept the "admin/admin" option, but when I get to the next step, fill in the blanks and try again with the new info, no luck.

Also there is a warning message after I use "admin/admin" to log in that states:

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: open(/var/php_sessions/sess_162fd54c7fd7bccbf56523b0d0436cec, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) (auth.php, line 44)

No such file exists in the folder that was provided... it was not included in the zip file I received... not sure what's up.

Thanks in advance. JP.

Re: Admin difficulties

It looks like your server is not set-up to support sessions. You'll need to take this up with your server support people. Please see the section at the end of the svManager user manual under the heading Error messages about sessions.
