Topic: Running a site off a CD

i've successfully created a site using html frames to host different galleries. each html gallery contains the 1 viewer.swf. now, i've added "cdata" tags to the descriptions to launch a high res version of the image in a blank window.

everything's working great off my hard drive, but when i burn and test the cd-rom, the links don't work. can anyone help me?

Re: Running a site off a CD

does anybody have any clues?
the cd's will be running off a windows XP machine...

i really don't know the first thing about HTML, but flash I understand.

my last resort is to build some sort of flash wrapper with a menu at the top to load the different swf's into a larger flash file.

does anyone have any experience / warnings about my flash approach?

You could well be the first person to try and implement simpleviewer from a cd location. Be sure to post when you have figured it out...

How don't they work? Do you get an error message?

This may be bad paths or it may be a security restriction in your browser. Try removing the 'target' property on your links.
