Topic: Gallery Blank On HTML Page

I built a Simpleviewer gallery in Lightroom and embedded it into an HTML page created in Dreamweaver. When I preview the page through Dreamweaver the gallery comes up fine, but after uploading the page and all files/folders created by Simpleviewer, the gallery is blank when viewed online. I uploaded all of the files/folders as created by Simpleviewer to the uppermost level of the root directory but am at a lost.

View at www ktbrady com/simpleviewer_test html

Files/Folders In Root Directory:
images (folder - contains .jpegs)
Scripts (folder - contains AC_RunActiveContent.js)
thumb (folder - contains .jpegs)
gallery.xml
simpleviewer_test.html
spacer.gif
swfobject.js
viewer.swf

Thanks in advance for any suggestions/guidance.

Re: Gallery Blank On HTML Page

In your simpleviewer_test.html file are relative links to what looks like files on your hard drive.
I would also use swfobject to embed the viewer.swf rather than the method you are trying to employ.  (You have already uploaded swfobject.js so you are halfway there.)

Adding one line in the <head> section and replacing the embedding code, your simpleviewer_test.html file should look more like this:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http&#58;//www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http&#58;//www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<title>Untitled Document</title>
<style type="text/css">
<!--
body
&#123;
background-color&#58; #575757;
&#125;
-->
</style>
<script src="Scripts/AC_RunActiveContent.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

<!--Following line additional to old code-->

<script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>

</head>
<body>
<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><!--DWLayoutTable-->
<tr>
<th width="100%" scope="col">

<!--Following code replaces old embedding code-->

<div id="flashcontent">SimpleViewer requires JavaScript and the Flash Player.
<a href="http&#58;//www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/">Get Flash.</a></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
var fo = new SWFObject&#40;"viewer.swf", "viewer", "800", "600", "8", "#575757"&#41;;
fo.addParam&#40;"quality", "high"&#41;;
fo.write&#40;"flashcontent"&#41;;
</script>

</th>
</tr>
</table>
</body>
</html>
