Topic: HELP! Fixed layout question? Can't size image down.

:?:
Hi all,

Ok I am working with the fixed layout in the option.as. I have gotten everything placed in the center with thumbs under the main image with auto play set to true. The next and back arrows of the main image are placed outside the image area and work.

There are two issues one the image size doesn't seem to change no matter how small I make it, it wants to stay right 680. In the XML override options I have the max image size set at 480. I'd like my image size to be 580. How can I go about this? Secondly the "Fixed Layout Positions" in the options.as I am coming up with some strange numbers to get it to the center. I'll post it here, I'm I doing something wrong or are these the right numbers.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: HELP! Fixed layout question? Can't size image down.

You have your 'maxImageHeigh't and 'maxImageWidth' set to 480, so SimpleViewer will resize your image to fit in a square box of 480x480 pixels. You can increase either value to 580.

Re: HELP! Fixed layout question? Can't size image down.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply Felix. For some reason SVP is not resizing the images to 480 the images are displayed just a little smaller than the browser window leaving just barely enough room for the thumbs which are under the main image.

Do the fixed layout numbers look right for center position? It is just weird that SVP is not sizing the images down and I know it must be some thing that I have not done or don't know to do.

Thanks in advance for all help.
