Topic: Question for Felix about the image index

My goal is that when a thumbnail is selected the address will be updated with some JavaScript code.

I'm looking for the image id to be returned when a thumb is clicked. I've been using the select function in thumbs, but it takes like 10 to 15 seconds for it to return the image index. Is there a better/faster way to get the image index when the thumbnail is clicked that already exists?

Thanks
Mike

Re: Question for Felix about the image index

I have implemented away the you can use a U R L to go to specific galleries when using the flash example of multiple galleries using swfaddress, so that yoursite/#/galleryname/ loads the appropriate xml.

I think I can use firstimageindex to load a specific image in that gallery so that an image can be linked to in multiple galleries with swfaddress, but I also need away to keep that U R L updated every time a thumbnail is clicked. I can update it with the swfaddress code if I can efficently pull the image index when this happens.
