Not seeing anything that has to do with SimpleViewer.
Just a sales pitch. Am I missing something here?
:?

Re: Have a look at this gallery and please tell me what wrong

Hi Aaron
i dont seem to understand your reply?
I dont speak english nativly, but if im understanding you correctly
your saying this is not a problem caused by simpleviewer?
If so do you now what causes the problem in the coding?

Thank you so much!

Re: Have a look at this gallery and please tell me what wrong

Hi JinXter

Sorry about that - jumped to conclusions as I did not see the gallery first thing.

_top, _parent and _self did not work for me either. Blank seems to be the only way. However, did you try uploading the file to your server with the other target choices or did you test them locally? That's the only thing I can think of at the moment.

Best,
Aaron

Re: Have a look at this gallery and please tell me what wrong

Hi JinXter,

Using a 1.8 version of SimpleViewer viewer.swf I was able to get a caption link to open with a target of _self in your page. You are using the latest version - 1.9 and I have not had a chance to play with the Options settings yet.

Re: Have a look at this gallery and please tell me what wrong

Hi Aaron thank you so much for helping me out.
It seems very weird that such simple coding is failing...
So what you are suggesting is that i would use the 1.8 version
swf file. If so can you tell me were to find a lower version file?
Cause i only have my 1.9 swf

Thank you so much!

Re: Have a look at this gallery and please tell me what wrong

Aaron i found the 1.8 version, luckaly i made a backup in the past!
i seems to work with the older version, so thank you so much for pointing
that out to me. They should look into the problem. But for now im more then pleased

thanks again

I still have something i wanne do but cant seem to find a solution for.
Is it possible to have 2 links in one caption? for example, Go fullscreen and close. So 2 text links for every picture.

Re: Have a look at this gallery and please tell me what wrong

Hey JinXter,

Never let anyone tell you backing up isn't good for you!
I took a quick look in the Options.as file for 1.9 and did not see anything that stood out.

As for 2 links in one caption, I'm going to say no. Your example sounds more like something you would code into a flash file - a file that has the Simpleviewer nested in it. You may want to think over how you want people to view and navigate your site.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I just verified that opening links in the current window is working with the latest version of SimpleViewer. The caption tag should look like this:

<caption><!&#91;CDATA&#91;<u><a href="http&#58;//www.google.com" target="_self">open link in current window</a></u>&#93;&#93;></caption>

Note that this may not work when testing locally. This is due to a security restriction in the Flash Player. Please test your files online.
