Topic: SimpleViewer messes up alignment of my menu only in IE

For some reason Simple Viewer is messing up the alignment of my menu DIV in Internet Explorer only.  It pushes the menu to the left of the page, but the menu remains centered as it should be in other browsers.  The gallery itself loads fine in all of the browsers.

Can someone please help?

the site is:

www{dot}todddesigns{dot}com{slash}images{slash}todddesigns_website{slash}print
{slash}index.html

Re: SimpleViewer messes up alignment of my menu only in IE

<link href="default.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

should be within the head section.

You have a stray </a> after another </a> in the first line after <div id="menu">
Also in the menu div, the browser encounters a closing </li> with no matching opening tag.  Put a <li> after the <ul> tag at the start of the menu div.

You have two closing </body> tags.  They are next to each other so delete any one of them.

However, I believe your problem is that you have no DOCTYPE declaration at the start of the document.
Put:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
   "http&#58;//www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

at the very beginning of your page.  (It looks like you are using XHTML 1.0 Transitional.)
