Topic: import gallery that is in the root folder? i.e. it's my home page

I set up svmanager and was able to import most of the existing galleries for this site:
www.tesarnoldphotography.com

I made some minor changes (added titles) and these showed up. Yeah!

The home page is a simpleviewer gallery (or rather has one embedded). How would I import this gallery?
I tried /public_html/ and received the message:
Notice: no import – cannot find folder ../public_html

It's like it is looking for a folder and there isn't one, just the gallery.xml, index.html, js and image folders.

Is there a way to set this up so I can use svManager for this gallery and still have it be my home page?

Re: import gallery that is in the root folder? i.e. it's my home page

I've been thinking some more about importing galleries that live in the web site root. SvManager wasn't designed to import and manage galleries in the root and I'm not yet convinced that your approach is problem-free. I'm still thinking about it so until I come up with something more definite, I'd just like to emphasize my previous advice – keep a backup of the whole site.
