Topic: two gallery, one page with autoviewer

Hello,

Is it possible to have two gallery in one page with free autoviewer ?
I have seen a post on that subject and I have the same code as mentionned but it doesn't work. I still have the same gallery (It works fine) twice on my webpage.

Here is my code :

<div id="animphoto">
<script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>
<div id="flashcontent">AutoViewer requires JavaScript and the Flash Player.
<a href="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/">Get Flash.</a></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
var fo = new SWFObject("autoviewer.swf", "viewer", "510", "279", "8", "#FFFFFF");
fo.addVariable("xmlDataPath", "gallery.xml");
fo.write("flashcontent");
</script>
 </div>

<div id="animweb">
<script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>
<div id="flashcontent2">AutoViewer requires JavaScript and the Flash Player.
<a href="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/">Get Flash.</a></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
var fo = new SWFObject("autoviewer.swf", "viewer", "510", "279", "8", "#FFFFFF");
fo.addVariable("xmlDataPath", "gallery2.xml");
fo.write("flashcontent2");
</script>
</div>

Do I have to have an another autoviewer somewhere?
Would it be better and simplier if I get a pro autoviewer ?

Thanks a lot.

Re: two gallery, one page with autoviewer

You only need this line once <script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>

You only need one copy of autoviewer.swf, though you could do it with two if your really want.

Not really.

Autoviewer uses xmlURL instead of xmlDataPath.

Try something like

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
<title></title>
<script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>
</head>
<body>
<div id="animphoto">
    <div id="flashcontent">AutoViewer requires JavaScript and the Flash Player.<a href="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/">Get Flash.</a></div>
    <script type="text/javascript">
        var fo = new SWFObject("autoviewer.swf", "viewer", "510", "279", "8", "#FFFFFF");
        fo.addVariable("xmlURL", "gallery.xml");
        fo.write("flashcontent");
    </script>
</div>
<div id="animweb">
<div id="flashcontent2">AutoViewer requires JavaScript and the Flash Player.<a href="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/">Get Flash.</a></div>
    <script type="text/javascript">
        var fo = new SWFObject("autoviewer.swf", "viewer", "510", "279", "8", "#FFFFFF");
        fo.addVariable("xmlURL", "gallery2.xml");
        fo.write("flashcontent2");
    </script>
</div>
</body>
</html>

Re: two gallery, one page with autoviewer

autoviewer uses 'xmlURL' not 'xmlDataPath': http://www.simpleviewer.net/autoviewer/options.html
