Topic: Navigation scroll bar

Hi,
I'm playing around with putting the thumbnails on the bottom, which I did successfully. I only wanted 6 to show at a time and when you place the cursor at the end of the bar, the bar does indeed scroll. However, I would like there to be a visual arrow or scrollbar in some way to indicate to the viewer that there are more thumbnails. Is that possible? Also, is there a way to put in a code for autoplay? Below is my XML file.

THANKS!!

Re: Navigation scroll bar

Okay. I fixed the problem with the scrollbar, but now the images in both my galleries will not display! I have little "x" signs where the image should be and my thumbnails are faded. I checked the paths of my images and they appear fine. They are saved for the web as non-progressive jpegs. The names are spelled as they should be... I can't think of what the problem could be. Please help.

The problem is on the gallery and photoediting pages.

Thanks...

Re: Navigation scroll bar

In the xml file at http://www.rachelraynes.com/artgallery/gallery.xml you need to change the imagePath to:

imagePath="artgallery/images/"

... (or move the 'images' folder back one level).
The thumbs show up because you have two thumbs folders: one at http://www.rachelraynes.com/thumbs/ (currently being used by SimpleViewer) and one at http://www.rachelraynes.com/artgallery/thumbs/ (currently not being used by SimpleViewer).
Without specifying an imagePath or thumbPath, SimpleViewer will look for the images and thumbs in folders named 'images' and 'thumbs' respectively alongside the html file http://www.rachelraynes.com/gallery.html

Similarly with the photoediting xml file. imagePath should be "photoediting/images/" or, again move the 'images' folder back a level. (There are duplicate thumbs for this gallery, too.)
Also, in http://www.rachelraynes.com/photoediting/gallery.xml there is a '&' character in the 'title' which should be escaped so:

title="Before & After"

... should become:

title="Before & After"

Re: Navigation scroll bar

You're fantastic! Thank you so much! It's crazy... I kept staring at it and just could not figure out the issue with the path for my life.
