Topic: How do I get simpleviewer to work with every screen resolution?

Hi
I want to have a gallery that will works with every screen resolution.
I set up a page that looks good with 1920x1200 but the problem is that simpleviewer only scales the image.
So if a user has eg 1280x1024 he will have to scroll.
There must be some way of fixing this without removing thumbnails altogether?

Have you tried the actionscript option enableImageDownScaling?

The thumbnail area does not scale to fit the available area. I recommend reducing the thumbnail columns to around 6 or 8 to work on smaller resolutions.

miker: yes

felix: thanks, yes this would solve the problem somewhat if the picture resolution is not too big.

Is it possible to have the thumbnails in the middle of the picture and still have imagedownscaling enabled?
I think that it would work best for a "fullpage"-solution, if it could be implemented together with a mouseover funtion.
Maybe something to implement in future version of SV 2 ?
I have seen that it could be done on this page: www.jeffludes.com
