Topic: The following directory does not exist - please create it and upload..

Haven't made any changes or installed/updated any plugins, all was working fine until two days ago.

Now i got this message when trying to create a new gallery:

The following directory does not exist - please create it and upload your images to subdirectories of it:

Directory is there and i can access its content via FTP and http, all directories are set 777

What can I do?

Also galleries are not displaying in posts:
I cannot read the gallery's xml file:
Please check that the gallery's files have been created on the admin pages!

This could perhaps be caused by a corrupt MySQL database.
Try running a repair on the database tables.

Thanks, but how can I repair the tables.

My host is Netfirms.com and the database is not showing on my control panel, I can only see database for applications installed through their control panel...

The 'Articles for Databases' page over at Netfirms should point you in the right direction.
However, please be aware that this is not guaranteed to solve the problem.
It is just a suggestion and something to try being that all was well up until a few days ago.

I don't know what else it could be.
If it was working fine a few days ago but not now, something must have changed.
However, you say you have not made any changes or installed or updated any plugins.
If you have made no changes at your end, then this lead me to believe something must have changed at the server end which made me think that, perhaps, a corrupt database could have been the reason for the problem.
