SimpleViewer Mobile

SimpleViewer Mobile is the much-anticipated HTML5 version of SimpleViewer, specifically designed for mobile devices that do not support Flash. This includes iPhones, iPads and Android devices. SimpleViewer Mobile provides a stripped-down interface to better present images on a small screen.

The mobile version of the gallery will be automatically created (no additional steps required) and will be displayed if the user’s device does not have the Flash plugin enabled.

svBuilder 2.1

Creating SimpleViewer galleries is about to get a lot easier! The next version of svBuilder includes true integrated support for local galleries. To build a new gallery, just drag-and-drop images from the desktop, enter caption text and hit ‘publish’ to create all the required gallery files. svBuilder will automatically resize images, generate thumbnails and create the required XML and HTML embed code.

The big changes in this version are:

• Multi-Line Title support was re-added by popular demand. By default, title text now ‘floats upward’. This means the height of the title is not used in calculating gallery layout. As more lines are added to the title text, the title y position moves upward. To modify this layout behavior, use the new ‘floatTitle’ and ‘titleHeight’ pro options.
• Improved compatibility between SimpleViewer Standard and SimpleViewer-Pro. The Pro version now handles all standard options correctly including ‘textColor’ and ‘galleryStyle’. This ensures gallery behavior remains identical when upgrading to Pro.
• Image Randomization options have changed. The ‘startOnRandomImage’ and ‘randomizeAutoPlay’ options have been replaced by the ‘randomizeImages’ option.This option randomly shuffles the image order on gallery load.
