Thanks!
Well, I'll wait for v2.1.4 then :)

Thanks for our reply. So there is no way to listen the fullscreen event without embedding in a flash container?

Hi,
Almost everything is in the title.
I use a fixed layout, and would like to point to a different xml when going full screen. I feel this should be done via API, but do not know where to start. Any idea?

Thanks!

All the bet,
Slyv

I have just noticed that in the code you posted, your embedding code does not include the flashvars and, therefore, the galleryURL will not be used.

Working, thanks!

I struggled a bit more to have multiple galleries on one html page. I found the answer on the forum, but I think that the documentation should be more explicit about naming the div containers and especially the flashvars differently for each gallery.

Cheers!

Do you still get the 'Cannot Parse Gallery XML' message?

Unfortunately, yes :(
I converted the php file to a plain xml file, and still the same result.

XML is here: http://www.forbidden-places.net/explos/77/gallery.xml
Test page is still the same
And the embed code is now:

I think that when SimpleViewer is resolving the galleryURL, the slash in the query string ('?hack=en--/--76') is being interpreted as a path separator rather than simply a character in the string.

Thanks, but I tested your theory (slash replaced by '_'): not working...
The links remain the same as above:

Test page: http://www.forbidden-places.net/explo76.htm
XML: http://www.forbidden-places.net/explos/ … =en--_--76

Any more idea?

hi steven,
thanks for your reply.
I tried to lower-case the simpleviewergallery tag, but no change.

What do you mean by "somehow escape (rather than just encode) the slash in the query string." ?

I'm getting nervous :)

Hi!
I post every time I update simpleviewer pro, being a customer since more than 4 years! :D

Upgrading to 2.1.3, I cannot make it work.
The XML file being generated seems not to be working: cannot parse gallery xml, although the xml looks fine.
Here is my test page:
http://www.forbidden-places.net/explo76.htm -> cannot parse gallery xml :( (click 'gallery of photos'

The link to the xml:
http://www.forbidden-places.net/explos/ … =en--/--76

And the embed code:

I tried to encode the gallery URL as mentioned in another post, but no success :(

Any idea?

Thanks in advance!

Best,
Slyv

Thanks for the quick answer!
That's what I expected actually, but it was not explicitly documented.

For this reason we recommend that you remove the fullscreen button for fixed layouts.

I'll take the other option: remove the fixed layout so I can keep the fullscreen button!

Cheers, S.

Hello,
I'm having a layout issue when using fullscreen mode: Simpleviewer is displayed on the top left of the screen instead of being centered.
I can't find any option to select fullscreen position.
Any idea?

See example here: http://www.forbidden-places.net/urban-e … ussels#gal

(click "gallery of photos")

Thanks!

If you want the arrows to be a different color than the frame, you will need to use the 'pagingArrowsColor' ActionScript option. Instructions for how to do this are here: ....

doesn't work for me, the 'pagingArrowsColor' ActionScript option changes only the thumbnail arrow color, not the main image color which remains the same as the main image frame...
Any suggestion?

I made some code changes to the source that allows me to show both texts all the time, as well as use an aditional line in the XML file to enter it into the main title.

let me know if you are interested.

I am, a lot!

Please let us know!

I am also looking forward to such a function.
I know php, but not enough to start from scratch!

Any clue? Has this been done already?

Thanks and best regards, Slyv

Hmm it's what I expected. Thanks Felix!

Hi all,
My question might be completely noobish and not SV-related but: is there a possibility that the Simpleviewer pages are indexed by search engines spiders?

Thanks and wow you simpleviewer creators rock!
