I mistakenly linked to the tiltviewer swf but I should have linked to the index in the tiltviewer folder. Try that.  Then of course the flickr photos must be public.

Any options are done in the index file

I did that and now I get a 3x3 grid (progress!) but the grid quickly disappears. It does that with or without the Tag line.

It is there. Scroll right to the bottom of index page (where there is a carrousel of photos) and under the Stat Counter there is a link "TiltViewer" that I use to test the viewer on my site. It's sort of half hidden and it still will not work!

I have deleted gallery.xml from my tiltviewer folder, as it seems to be redundant when using Flickr. Am I correct?

I presume also that there is no need for an imgs folder here too?

I notice in the properties on Flickr the url of my photos is Farm4 Static etc. Again I presume this is Flickr's store for all?

The cache is cleared each time I go check but I still only get the 5x5 viewer and your sample images.

I have changed index.html as instructed and here are all the active variables. The rest are commented out (//)

        // To use images from Flickr, uncomment this block
        fo.addVariable("useFlickr", "true");
        fo.addVariable("user_id", "23337242@N03");
        fo.addVariable("tags", "henson");
        fo.addVariable("tag_mode", "all");
        fo.addVariable("showTakenByText", "true");
        // To use local images defined in an XML document, use this block
        //fo.addVariable("useFlickr", "false");
        //fo.addVariable("xmlURL", "gallery.xml");
        //GENERAL OPTIONS
        fo.addVariable("useReloadButton", "false");
        fo.addVariable("columns", "3");
        fo.addVariable("rows", "3");
        //fo.addVariable("showFlipButton", "true");
        //fo.addVariable("showLinkButton", "true");
        //fo.addVariable("linkLabel", "View image info");
        //fo.addVariable("frameColor", "0xFF0000");
        //fo.addVariable("backColor", "0xDDDDDD");
        //fo.addVariable("bkgndInnerColor", "0xFF00FF");
        //fo.addVariable("bkgndOuterColor", "0x0000FF");
        //fo.addVariable("langGoFull", "Go Fullscreen");
        //fo.addVariable("langExitFull", "Exit Fullscreen");
        //fo.addVariable("langAbout", "About");

Finally I would love to purchase Tiltviewer-Pro and with most downloaded programs I like to try the free version first before committing. I think the viewer is extremely good and would not persist with it if I thought otherwise. Henry

I note that when  I try my TiltViewer and I get the sample photos instead of mine they come from farm4 static flickr com  and there is no such line in either gallery or index so it is out of my control and perhaps this is a clue?

Put the text on the bottom as the bottom row is partially hidden for me. Make the title fit on one line if possible.

Now I uploaded the photos to flickr, changed the html to flickr true put in my id and still tiltviewer loads the 5x5 with your samples.

What do you do to gallery.xml with flickr? Nothing, is it redundant?

I'm lost!

I'm having problems

my website is henry barnett free fr Access is “tiltviewer” at the very bottom of the index page and all I get is Tiltviewer with the sample pictures and 5 x 5 rows and not 3 x 3 as I specified.

I cleared the cache in Firefox but there still must be something wrong! Has anyone got any ideas?

I created a folder on my site called “tiltviewer” and loaded all the files and the folder “imgs” there.

I created 6 photos all 640 max called img1 to 6 and put them into “imgs”

I changed the index.html as follows:-

// To use local images defined in an XML document, use this block
fo.addVariable("useFlickr", "false");
fo.addVariable("xmlURL", "gallery.xml");

fo.addVariable("useReloadButton", "false");
fo.addVariable("columns", "3");
fo.addVariable("rows", "3");

I changed the gallery html as follows:-

The image address is tiltviewer/imgs/img1 jpg"

The link address is my website address

Q. How does Tiltviewer know where gallery.xml is kept?
Q. How is thumbs created as it appears on my website folder but not locally?

Thanks in advance.
