I have re-scaled my gallery as you suggested, but with no luck. It looks OK on the desktop, but just looks weird on my tablet and phone.
Is there something else I can do to make it presentable on these devices?

Thanks Steven. I placed the gallery folder outside the wp content and I can now see it. There are still a couple of problems however:-

I set the background as transparent, but it doesn't show as transparent - how can I correct this please?

The slideshow only works properly on my desktop - even reducing the size of my main image doesn't work on my tablet or my android phone. My site is mobile friendly but the image won't fit on the screen full sized. Is there something I can do to make the gallery friendly on all devices?

I have checked on my web server and I have simpleviewer.js and swfobject.js inside my js file. Shall I delete the latter?

I have corrected the gallery parameters.

Thanks for your reply.

I have followed your instructions but the gallery still won't show. I would be grateful if you could have a look at my gallery page, which is http://www.libraimages.co.uk/test-2

I created a gallery in SV Builder Pro and placed the folder contaning the gallery in the wp content folder on my server, then copied the embed code which I added to the html page on my website. I have tried different combinations of code to display the gallery, but with no success. I seem to be having a problem making sense of the base url method that is needed to show the gallery, as it is not at all straightforward.
Could you please give me an idea of what I'm not getting, and point me in the right direction?

Could you please explain how I upload the gallery to wordpress, once it has been created in SVBuilder Pro. I have uploaded the pictures and embedded the code, but what do I do next?

Thanks Steven - I'm using the Twenty Twelve theme, and the gallery shows up OK on the mobile when using the WP plugin with the flash turned off.

I would prefer to have the gallery embedded on a page, but would there be a problem with that as Adobe Flash is not supported? If so, can you suggest an alternative method?

Hi,

I am trying to create a website using a responsive wordpress theme, so it will work on all platforms. I want to build a gallery using svbuilder pro but I am aware that mobiles don't support Adobe flash as I had a problem with this before. Can you suggest a solution to this problem?

Thanks,

I contacted the server about creating a .htaccess file and apparently they use Zeus not Apache. I have created a file called rewrite.script for this purpose. Could you please let me know what code I need to add to this?

I have an Android phone and nothing happens when I try to play your example of the forest gallery. Is there something else I need to do?

Hi,

Can you please suggest a, hopefully simple, way that this can be achieved?

Thanks

I've added the gallery again to the page using the second code, but something's going wrong. Could you please tell me where I'm going wrong?

I really don't know what to do now. I removed all the files that I had taken out of the gallery folder and added the second piece of code to the pictures.htm page and now my whole website is a complete mess.

I'm afraid I'm back where I started. I uploaded all the gallery files to the same directory as the web folder and the gallery works fine, but it defaults straight to the gallery, and not the homepage anymore.

I eventually figured it out - many thanks for your help.

This is where I get confused. I have added the embedding code to the page I want the gallery, but I'm not sure where to put the second piece of code. The URL is http://www.libraimages.co.uk/pictures.htm

I have replied to your post on the pro version 2 forum

I have created and added the gallery again, uploaded it to the website and added the embedding code to the page I want it displayed, but nothing shows up.

I can't see how I'm supposed to point the code to the installed gallery - there is no image/thumbnail path in the gallery xml any more.

My previous post disappeared for some reason.

I recently created a gallery using SV Builder pro which I then uploaded to my Front Page website. However, it didn't resemble the gallery that I had saved - the gallery was cropped and the background wasn't the right color so it didn't blend in with the page.

Can you tell me if it is possible to create a FP gallery in the builder and, if so, which code I need to add to the page after I have uploaded the gallery folder?

Thankyou

For years I have used Simpleviewer to add a gallery to a Microsoft Front Page website without any problem. I now have SV Builder Pro for creating a new gallery but, whatever I do, I can't get it to look right on the page. Does a SV Builder Pro creation not  work properly on a FP website page?

Hi,

I have built my gallery using SV Builder Pro and need to paste some code into the page. Could you tell me what piece of code I need to add, because I am not having any luck with any of them.

Thanks

As you said, I've just uploaded the whole gallery content to the public_html folder which contains the page on which I've embedded the code, then loaded the page , but it still doesn't find the gallery xml.
I can't see what I'm doing wrong.

To put it simply, why can't I just embed the code from SVBuilder, after I have created the gallery, to the page? Why do I have to use the Base URL option which you suggest, and which never seems to work, however I set it? There seem to be so many different variations.

Yes, it shows up when I view it that way in a browser, but the embedded code doesn't work for some reason. Does it mean that I won't be able to view it  properly until the site goes live?
