Open the XML in a text editor and use find and replace.

Find: "images/
Replace: "WebGallery/images/

Find: "thumbs/
Replace: "WebGallery/thumbs/

I said in my first post the using direct linking with Wordpress will have its issues and complications that you will have to over come. Please remember that the SimpleViewer API is technically provided as is without support.

You could try:

<script type="text/javascript">
var flashvars12 = flashvars;
flashvars12.galleryURL = "http://www.ritosgeles.lt/wp-content/uploads/12.xml";
simpleviewer.ready(function () {
    simpleviewer.load("flashContent12", "80%", "80%", "transparent", true, flashvars12);

});
</script>

If use the swfobject embed method (this method does not support the nonflash/moblile viewer) you can specify the minimum flash version using the embed code, otherwise you would have to wire or find a script that tests the flash version.

Sorry, I just moved and was off line longer then expected. The reason it is not working is the code in your head is using flashvars and not flashvars12, so in the head of your doc change var flashvars = {};  to var flashvars12 = {}; and then remove var flashvars12 = {}; from the JavaScript in your body.

This is the section you need to remove the var flashvars12 = {} from:

<script type="text/javascript">
var flashvars12 = {};
flashvars12.galleryURL = "http://www.ritosgeles.lt/wp-content/uploads/12.xml";
simpleviewer.ready(function () {
    simpleviewer.load("flashContent12", "80%", "80%", "transparent", true, flashvars12);

});
</script>

Your site seems to be working fine in Firefox 4 for Windows, could be a Mac/Flash issue. What version of flash are you using with Firefox 4 on your Mac? If it is less then the current version, 10.3.181.14, try updating to the latest version.

Is the gallery online so I can take a look? If you look at the index.html in the PrintGallery folder does it work?

var svCoreURL = 'Print Gallery/svcore';

It looks like you should remove the space in your svCoreURL line.

var svCoreURL = 'PrintGallery/svcore';

Usually if the gallery works in several browsers and not in one it has to do with an error in your page. You still have some errors such as using and ampersand (&) instead of &amp;

You can find the directions for using SimpleViewer Pro with svManager in the svManager support sections - Using svManager with a Pro viewer.

(6 replies, posted in SimpleViewer-Pro v2)

The  URL you shared is using SimpleViewer 1.9 standard, you need to be using SimpleViewer 2.1.3 Pro to use the options I linked. The current version of svManager is Version 1.7.7, I would suggest updating to the current version of svManger and purchasing SimpleViewer Pro if you do not already own it.

Please post the URL of the page that you are having the issue with so that we can take a look.

SimpleViewer 2.1.3 fixed the mobile sizing issue.

Yes, you can use the SimpleViewer Pro Options to turn the buttons and other visible components off.

Have you tried using CSS to center the div you are embedding the gallery into?

margin:0 auto;

svManager is sold separately form the other Pro Products to use svManager with SimpleViewer Pro you need to purchase both of the products.

svManager comes with the standard (non-Pro) versions of the viewers built into it. When you have purchase both SimpleViewer Pro and svManager follow the svManager upgrade directions in the support documents to use svManager with SimpleViewer Pro

You still have the extra chunk of embed code in your page at about line 143 to 151.

It looks like you removed too much of the code, the embed portion of your code should look something like the following.

//JavaScript Embed
var flashvars12 = {};
flashvars12.galleryURL = "http://www.ritosgeles.lt/wp-content/uploads/12.xml";
//Set enableAPI to true to use JS API
flashvars12.enableAPI = "true";
//Set 'firstImageIndex' based on the 'index' query string parameter
flashvars12.firstImageIndex = getLocationIndex();

var params = {};
params.allowfullscreen = true;
params.allowscriptaccess = "always";

var attributes = {};
//name and id should match getElementById() call above
attributes.id =  "svInstance";
attributes.name = "svInstance";

jQuery(document).ready(function () {
    SV.simpleviewer.load('sv-container', '80%', '80%', 'transparent', true, flashvars12, params, attributes);
});

Looking at the gallery.xml for the gallery I'm not seeing title ="whatever your title is" in the simpleviewer tag at the top of the XML.

<simpleviewergallery resizeOnImport="false" maxImageWidth="1024" maxImageHeight="1024" imageQuality="80" thumbWidth="75" thumbHeight="75" thumbQuality="90" useFlickr="false" cropToFit="false" thumbPosition="BOTTOM" backgroundColor="FFFFFF" frameColor="CCCCCC" thumbRows="1" frameWidth="5" textColor="666666" thumbColumns="4" showOpenButton="false" backgroundTransparent="true" useFlash="true" galleryHeight="100%" showFullscreenButton="true">

1)  I am using svBuilder.  I have not been able to get the Transparent background to work when I check the box.   I have had to change the code manually every time I want it.   Am I doing something wrong?

I'm not sure why you would be having issue, it seems to be working for me. If you are using an iframe make sure to add allowTransparency="true" to your iframe.

 <iframe  allowTransparency="true"></iframe>

2)  Using svBuilder: I have been using the Title field.   I see my Title when I preview in the browser.  However, when I publish to the web, I see no Title.   For example:  http://www.danderrico.com/svCorpPortraits/
Anyway to fix this?  Otherwise, I may have to embed this page in order to create titles.

Are your titles white on a white background?

3) Testing on an iPhone.   The galleries that are not embedded work great!  However, once embedded, the images appear on the very bottom of the iPhone display and the bottom 30 percent of each photo seems cut off.    Does this happen on all mobile devices?   (Here is a sample page: http://www.danderrico.com/Danderrico/Interiors.html)   Is there a workaround?   I guess I could not embed - but I need text on the page.

This is an issue in SimpleViewer 2.1.2 and will be fixed in the next version which should be released soon.

4) Does svBuilder Pro enable me to enter a lot more text on the page?    Then I might be able to avoid some embedding all together and it might solve problem #3.

You can add the same amount of text in both the pro and standard versions.

5) Last:  a feature request.   I would love to have my large homepage picture change to a different photo automatically by itself on a schedule.    For example, my homepage would show a photo of a turkey around Thanksgiving.   After Thanksgiving, the picture would automatically change to a Christmas photo for a month.     After Christmas, I could have a New Year's photo for one day.   Etcetera.   I just don't want to manage this automatically.   I want to set up a schedule TODAY, load the pictures and not worry about it for a year.  Is this possible?

If you were comfortable with a server side language such as PHP you could set something like this up.

Try using the following code instead. Remember to clear your browser's cache after making the change.

//SimpleViewer API setup
var svAPI; //svAPI is the object to call API methods on
//Called by SWF when API becomes available

function svComplete() {
    //console.log("SimpleViewer API Available");
    svAPI = document.getElementById('svInstance');
};

//Called by SWF when user views an image
function svImageChange(index) {
    imageID = index + 1
    SWFAddress.setValue("/" + imageID + "/");
}

//Called when browser back button is clicked
SWFAddress.onChange = function () {
    if (svAPI.getImageIndex() != getLocationIndex()) {
        svAPI.showImage(getLocationIndex());
    }
}

function getLocationIndex() {
    var path = SWFAddress.getValue();
    var arr = path.split("/");
    return arr[1] - 1;
}

Currently the embed code does not provide a way to choose to test for a specific flash version if you are using SimpleViewer version 2.1.0 or higher and intend to use the non-flash/mobile version of the gallery.

Are you sure Shutterfly allows you to pull images from their site? Beyond that TiltViewer maybe expecting a file with a file extension such as .jpg.

Adobe has some suggestions in the link below and there are probably other options if you do some searching, however, giving flash the focus by default in now a very user friendly thing to do if there is other content in your page besides the gallery.
